Rising baller Mikael Egill Ellertsson is the 19 year-old Icelandic international who plays for the Italian side, SPAL, on loan from the Seria A team, Spezia.

Mikael Ellertsson made his professional debut for SPAL back in in 2021.
By August 2021 he signed a 5-year contract for Spezia and on the same day he returned to SPAL on loan.
Having played for his country since U16 squad, Ellertsson made his debut for the Iceland national football team on 8 October 2021 in a World Cup qualifier.
