If you’ve come to take inspiration from the EURO’s, Hairbond products or the Jordan Pickford haircut then you’re in the right place. Aside from his national duties for England, Jordan Pickford is also first choice goalkeeper for Premier League side Everton FC.
The Hairbond brand is proud to be supported by huge network of Premier League footballing talent. This includes England national players. Aside from today’s England number one, the list of Hairbond supporters includes past and present players such as Michael Owen. Phil Jones, Jack Grealish, Harry Winks, James Ward-Prowse, Fraser Forster and many more.. Not forgetting goal machine Jamie Vardy of course..
Jordan Pickford Hair At Its Best
Well known for his goalkeeping talent Pickford has also made the headlines for his change in hairstyles of more recent months but today we talk about Jordan Pickford hair at its best. To be honest, we quickly voted out the skin head and left out the Harry Kane inspired longer style and found we were left with something we prefered in between.
Asking your barber for the Jordan Pickford haircut
Ask your barber for a skin fade. The harsh fade should disappear quite high up the sides of the head eventually blending in to about a number 3 before it is scissor cut to blend into the longer hair on the top. Make sure you tell your barber that there needs to be some length on the top, a couple of inches at least, (so longer than Phil Foden for example) and that you don’t want any disconnect between the sides and the top, this isn’t Peaky Blinders! The hair on the top will be cut so that it naturally falls and parts to its natural side. Remember which way for home styling!
What Will You Need?
You will need three things. A brush or comb, a hairdryer and a couple of Hairbond products for maximum results.
After washing your newly fresh cut hair, whilst damp, apply a couple of squirts of Hairbond Wonder Primer into your hands. Then evenly distribute through the longer hair using your brush. Before moving on to the next stage, find which way your hair naturally sits, and part either to the left or right.
Now you’re ready for the blowdryer. Set it to medium heat and aim, to part your hair to the chosen side whilst simultaniously brushing it. The Wonder Primer is an effective pre-styling product that will protect your hair whilst adding extra hold amongst a long list of other haircare benefits.
Now the foundations have been set, you’re ready to finish off with a Hairbond styler. As you can see from the picture, Jordan Pickford prefers a softer holding product for his hairstyle. For this particular style we recommend the Hairbond Distorter Professional Hair Clay. This will give you enough hold but the workability factor means you still have some flexibility for extra texture.
Jordan Pickford England
Before making it into the England squad, Pickford has previously played for Sunderland’s academy, reserve, and senior teams in addition to loan spells at Darlington, Alfreton Town, Burton Albion, Carlisle United, Bradford City and Preston North End. But he signed for Everton for a fee of £25 million back in June 2017.
Pickford has represented England at under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 levels. He received his first call-up from the full England national team for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Slovenia in October 2016, making his debut in November 2017 in a friendly against Germany.
He was the starting goalkeeper in England’s 2018 World Cup fourth-place finish, leading the squad to its first semi-final appearance since 1990 with a penalty shootout victory in the second round and a clean sheet in the quarter-final.
